Would you mind telling me what this movie's about?
Hi Mike, it's about lots of things and can't be summed up easily. The best thing to do is just to absolutely make sure you watch it and it explains itself.
(by the way, it's the best film that I've seen. In fact, it's my favourite work of art full stop!)

that's so absurd to say it just explains itself....bawls to that, i don't think it does at all.
i would say if anything , mike, it's about desperation. but i think it's hard to critque without context.

Yeah, I agree it's about desperation, but so much else too. I wouldn't want to say it's about anyone one, or two or three things. I could write a hundred essays about it, but none would be a better explanation of the film than the film itself.
I'm just trying to say, "Watch it and make your own conclusions."
